Welcome to SEG America, the national Segway Enthusiasts Group!
www.segamerica.org

We are an independent, national organization that can help bring together Segway Human Transporter (HT) owners and enthusiasts across the country as we share our interest in the Segway HT. SEG America is run by its members for its members. Our primary goal is to act as a tool to enable Segway enthusiasts to share information and experiences with each other and to move forward the concept of the Segway HT as new mode of transportation.

The heart of the SEG America organization is in the local groups. Local Group Organizers keep in contact with other owners and enthusiasts in his/her area and organize social activities such as regular club meetings, group glides, and SegwayPolo matches. The local groups will also take part in dealing with local regulatory issues.

The national organization will sponsor the formation of these local groups by providing guidance and support. We will help them get organized and certified and provide the technical tools for them to communication with their members and with each other through the Local Group Coordinator.

Members of SEG America will be able to use all of our tools to find groups in thier area and other local members in their community, communicate with other members and local groups, receive the newsletter, vote on club management issues, volunteer to run a local group, and be an officer in the national's Executive Board.

In the upcoming months, SEG America will be publishing a periodic newsletter available only to members. Our web site will feature additional content and more information about these tools for the local groups and the members as they are made available. Stay tuned here on this home page and in the Announcements section.
